Troop

To join Boy Scouts, a boy needs to be 11 years old, or a boy who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old but is not yet 18 years old. 

(!!!) It is NOT necessary to have been a Cub Scout to join a Boy Scout troop.

You will need to fill out a registration form and submit the Troop registration fee of $150.00*. 

Registration Fee for the scouting season includes: 

• Registration for Boy Scouts of America membership
• Annual Boy's Life magazine subscription
• Boy Scouts of America Insurance
• Troop membership costs: 
• Troop supplied material and equipment
• Operating expenses incurred by the Troop
• Troop neckerchief
• Troop hat
• One troop T-shirt
• Badges
• Awards
• Some day trips

The Troop operates using the patrol method. Based on the makeup of patrols, new scouts are placed in an existing or new group.

Pack

If your child is in elementary school (Grades K-5) they may join our Pack 23.
