There’s no better way to welcome the holiday season than with our community’s beloved Annual Tree Lighting! As the lights flicker to life and holiday music fills the air, Scouts from Troop 23 are there to help make the moment truly magical.

Our scouts will be stationed near the festivities, offering steaming cups of hot chocolate, warm tea, and sweet seasonal treats to guests of all ages. It’s a small gesture that brings big smiles — and a tradition we are proud to continue. Earlier that same Sunday morning, scouts were already in action selling Christmas wreaths to support our troop’s programs, making this a full day of cheerful service and community spirit.

This joyful evening of light, laughter, and togetherness kicks off a season of giving. Up next: our Giving Tree event, where Scouts will sort, bundle, and prepare gifts for families in need. Together, these moments help us celebrate the true spirit of the holidays — through service, community, and kindness.
