Fall Merit Badge Rally

Location: Church of the Blessed Sacrament / Taylor Hall

The Fall Merit Badge Rally hosted by the Big Apple District is an incredible opportunity for Scouts to work directly with merit badge counselors to get requirements signed off. While this is not a teaching session, it’s perfect for Scouts who have already done some or most of the work for a merit badge and want to review their progress or finish a badge.

We encourage all Scouts who are motivated, prepared, and self-directed to attend — especially those working on Eagle-required merit badges.

👉 This is not a Troop 23 trip, but individual Scouts and families may choose to attend and coordinate with each other.

This is a district Scouting event.  All Scouts attending must be in their official full Class-A Scouting America uniform

• 📍 Location: Edward R. Murrow High School, 1600 Avenue L, Brooklyn, NY 11230
• 🕘 Time: Scouts may arrive anytime between 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM
• 🎟️ Registration: There is no formal registration
• 🧢 Uniform: Class A
• 📄 Cost: Free to attend

🧭 What to Expect

• This is a sign-off opportunity, not a class. Scouts should arrive with worksheets, blue cards, or other evidence of completed work.
• Counselors are available for partial sign-offs, discussion, and review.
• Scouts are encouraged to review the prerequisites in advance and come prepared.
• No guarantee of full completion — this depends on what the Scout has already done.
