Adventure by Water, History by Foot — One Epic Day!

Season Finale: The Downtown Boathouse’s free kayaking program wraps up on Sunday, October 5. Troop 23 has the rare chance to secure early group access—before the public program begins at 10 AM—by coordinating through their group reservation email. (Formally it's walk-up only, but early access is possible!)

Imagine gliding across the Hudson in a sit-on-top kayak, with Manhattan’s iconic skyline overhead — the skyline, the rebuilt piers of Hudson River Park, and the clean waters that show how far our city has come

Then — A Stroll Through “Old New York”

After paddling, we’ll stretch our legs by walking The Old New York Historical Trail through lower Manhattan, from Pier 26 to Pier 11—a walking journey through New York City's layered past.

You can explore:

Bring your walking shoes, curiosity, and phone — restrooms are available at parks, churches, or public piers along the way
