🧭 Orienteering Trip — Patrols, Points, and Pure Adventure

Get ready to put your navigation skills to the test!

This March, we’re heading out on a Troop-wide Orienteering Trip designed to challenge your map-and-compass abilities, test your teamwork, and bring out your inner pathfinder.

While the exact date and location are still being finalized, one thing is already certain — this trip will feature a competitive orienteering challenge between patrols. Expect a full day (or possibly a weekend!) of team-based exploration, decision-making, and friendly rivalry as you navigate your way across unfamiliar terrain to earn points and complete tasks.

Whether you're new to orienteering or already know how to triangulate in your sleep, this adventure will have something for everyone. You'll get a chance to:

• Build real-world navigation skills
• Work together as a patrol to solve challenges
• Compete for points, prizes, and bragging rights
• Spend a day outdoors doing what Scouts do best: learning by doing

Pack your compass, dust off your hiking boots, and start practicing those map skills — this will be one of our most hands-on trips of the year.
