Raft-O-Ree is an annual event organized by Greater New York Councils that brings troops from across the region together for a weekend of raft-building challenges, competitive races, and scout fellowship. It's a fun, creative event that tests teamwork and engineering skills in a waterfront setting.
Troop 23 will not be attending Raft-O-Ree this year. We considered it — it would've been easier than planning our own trip — but ultimately decided to run our own Whitewater Rafting Trip on the Lehigh River instead. Our trip is a family event (parents, siblings, and friends welcome), runs on a guided Class III format, and has been a troop tradition for years. See that page for details and signup.
