Summer Camp is the highlight of our scouting year — a full week dedicated to adventure, friendship, and personal growth. Every scout who’s attended will tell you: there’s nothing quite like it.
Stay tuned for more information — dates, packing lists, program guides, and signup instructions will be shared as soon as they’re available.
🧳 What to Pack & Prepare
Uniform & Attire:
Class B—green pants/shorts and Troop 23 t-shirt (youth leaders select daily color).
Only change into Class A when wrapping up in camp.
Packing Essentials: Complete gear checklist includes sleeping bag/mat, bug spray, day‑pack, rain gear, toiletries, compass, flashlight, swimsuit, Class A/B uniforms, medical forms, worksheets, and more.
Merit Badge Prep: Bring prerequisites, worksheets, MB book printouts, pencil/pen, and attitude. Evening debriefs led by youth leaders will help scouts stay on track and solve questions with counselors.
Snacks & Drinks: Pack your own—especially with dietary restrictions. We'll maintain a shared cooler. Camp store access is available, but more costly and limited. Parents, please help scouts plan spending and budget responsibly.
Entertainment & Comfort Items: Games, books (Percy Jackson welcome!), speakers, cards, skits, etc.—things to make downtime fun without disturbing neighbors.
What to Pack: List
The camp will be a week-long, so keep that in mind when packing.
