Pinewood Derby

When and Where

When: March 1, 2027 (tentative) Monday, March 1, 2027 per the planning calendar. The Brooklyn district derby is noted for 3/6.

Location: Our Lady of Angels

Cub Scout Pack 23 races its Pinewood Derby at Our Lady of Angels, and Troop 23 runs it: our race-management software, our timing, and a Scout in the Race Supervisor's chair with an adult on the microphone.

For the Troop it is a service night and a leadership night at once. For the Cubs it is the biggest evening of their year — and for the Troop it is where next year's new Scouts first see us working.
