TMR Winter Camping Trip

When: February 19-20, 2022 , 12:00 am — 7:00 pm

Location: Ten Mile River Scout Camps / Hearst Cabin

Where and When

The trip will take place at TMR Scout Reservation-Monticello NY from February 18, 7 pm to February 20, 2 pm.

The scouts will be sleeping in a cabin

Activities

The Troop will be Winter camping in a large cabin, Winter hiking, winter activities, snow tubing.

What to bring

• Ten Essentials
• Completed permission from Scoutbook if you have not done so already.
• Fee for the trip if you have not done so already
• Ski/water resistant outerwear for outdoor activities.
• Gloves
• Backpack
• Water bottle to carry water for driving and making hot chocolate/coffee/tea
• Backpacking stove if you have one
• Mess kit including a cup that can hold hot chocolate/coffee/tea
• Snacks galore
• Games/cards/etc.
• More than one pair of shoes - they will get wet
• Toiletries to ensure cleanliness
