About This Event

Grab your tools and get building! Pack 23 Brooklyn hosts our annual Pinewood Derby at Our Lady of Angels — and everyone is invited to race.

Who Can Participate

• Cub Scouts — the main event! Race by rank division
• Boy Scouts — Troop 23 scouts compete in their own category
• Parents & siblings — adult and family divisions welcome
• Adult volunteers — help run the event and race too
• Community members — open to all who want to build and race

More Than Just Speed

The Derby celebrates craftsmanship and creativity as much as velocity. Awards include best design, most creative theme, scout spirit, and more. Work with your scout to design, cut, sand, and paint a car that's uniquely theirs.
