After the incredible success of last year’s expanded and action-packed Pinewood Derby, we’re thrilled to bring it back in 2026 — bigger, better, and faster than ever. With an improved program and returning favorites, this year’s race is set to be the most memorable yet!

The Pinewood Derby has been a beloved tradition of Cub Scouts since 1953, celebrating imagination, engineering skills, and spirited competition. It’s an event where Scouts build and race their own custom wooden cars — and where lifelong memories are made.
