When and Where

When: May 18, 2025
Timeline: 10:00 am — 12:00 pm

Location: Greenwood Cemetery (5th Ave and 25th St)

We will continue our annual tradition of personally honoring those veterans who rest at Greenwood Cemetery by placing flags at their graves one week prior to Memorial Day, to beat the crowd and maximize our impact.

Please come to honor our fallen heros at Greenwood Cemetery. This is our annual event that we do one week prior to Memorial Day, to beat the crowd and maximize our impactful contribution.

This is the perfect event to honor the fallen and do service to our community.

You need to be prepared for the circumstances that might arise. One year, it rained throughout - bring rain gear. However, the forecast looks perfect. The ground and grass will be wet. Wear waterproof footwear. Another year, it was very warm - bring liquids. It's fine to wear Class B this time.

Everyone is free to come and help out.

Meeting Location:  Enter Greenwood Cemetery through its main entrance on 25th Street and 5th Avenue. Continue straight and bear left.  We should be parked there.

Travel:  Greenwood is easily accessible by public transportation.  Even better, is it's a short walk or bike ride.  The forecast is beautiful for outdoor activity.

Time:  We will start our walk at 10 AM sharp.  Some of us will be there early to setup and enjoy the environment and (BYO) breakfast.

Be Prepared. The appropriate attire for this event is Class A.
