The annual Pizza Party meeting of Troop 23 and Pack 23 will take place at Owl's Head Park on June 17, 2024! This much-anticipated event brings together scouts and their families for an afternoon of fun, food, and celebration. During the event, several exciting activities will be happening, making it a perfect blend of enjoyment and productivity for everyone involved.

Raingutter Regatta

Pack 23 will kick off the festivities with a thrilling Raingutter Regatta. Scouts will race their handcrafted boats down water-filled gutters, showcasing their creativity and competitive spirit.

The race is powered by the scouts' breath, as they blow into the sails to propel their boats forward. The goal is to be the first to reach the end of the gutter. The rules are simple: no touching the boats with hands, only blowing is allowed. This event encourages creativity, sportsmanship, and friendly competition, making it a favorite among the scouts and their families.

Board of Review

Meanwhile, scouts from Troop 23 who are working on rank advancements will have the opportunity to participate in a Board of Review. This important step allows scouts to discuss their progress and achievements with troop leaders and receive valuable feedback.

For those who still need to complete certain requirements, this event offers a great chance to work on them with the guidance of experienced leaders. 

Pizza Party

And, of course, no pizza party would be complete without plenty of delicious pizza to celebrate the approaching end of the year. This gathering serves as a wonderful way to reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and gear up for future adventures.
